Can't lock or close apps with gesture after update do 1.1.0.39 [answered]

asked 2014-10-25 16:21:14 +0300

After the update when I do the gesture to close an app or lock the device instead of do what is supposed, it minimizes the application or if you're home just does nothing ...

(sorry for my bad english)

Have you enabled it in the settings?

This was disabled for new users in 1.0.5.16, Paarlampi update and can be enabled from the settings > system > shortcuts > enable swipe closing.

Yep... and i can't understand why :D. "the kill swipe" should be default~

Quick browsing through the 1.0.5.16 paarlampi release notes and I found this:

we received feedback that new users are overwhelmed with the gestures, especially with the swipe down to close gesture. It seemed too abrupt/ not knowing what actually happened to the app that was just open a few seconds ago. To ease this situation, we now have a configurable option in settings. Rest assured, we love that gesture ourselves :)

I guess this can now be marked as answered then. Could you press that button below the vote up and down buttons?
