My wife is geting Jolla in tuesday, so I wonder... Why not enter my Jolla account details in her phone? I see problems only in "opt-in-updates" or am I missing something? For contact and calendar sync she will use her google account.

No problems, you can do that, if it's ok by "The government" at you home :)
So you can use your existing account for both, Jolla phone + Jolla Tablet..
Or how things are planned with tablet. Will there be one user account as "administration" who uses his/her Jolla account information, and other user accounts on tablet won't need Jolla account? I'm expecting there will be myltible user accounts in tablet..
