[Bug] Touchscreen not responding while phone is ringing
Twice so far the touchscreen has locked up when I received a phonecall - specifically, I pulled the phone out of my pocket, the screen turned on, but did not react to anything until the phone stopped ringing (volume buttons did react however). As soon as the ringing stopped, the touchscreen started responding normally again.
tbr on #jollamobile said that he also experienced the problem.
same to me. I'm still on 1.0.8.21 (Tahkalampi). It's now for a few weeks that the whole UI freezes for a couple of seconds. This also happens sometimes when I receive a call. I got the impression that it is related to the web browser. The problem is gone ( at least much smaller) if the browser is not running.

Philippe De Swert ( 2014-11-18 22:47:48 +0200 )editI can try that, but I doubt this was a low-memory condition - I don't like leaving apps open, and I don't have that many installed at all (and as I said, the phone responded immediately to the volume button).

Verify the memory usage with Lighthouse and have a look at the running processes as well. You can sort them by the memory usage and see if you can find any culprits. As I understood, messageserver5 had some memory usage problems until 1.1.0.39. I am still using 1.0.8.21.
