Time since emails last checked wrong on email app cover if changing timezone

If I check my emails, then get on a plane and change the timezone to my destination three timezones to the East, the email app cover shows that emails were last checked "-3 hours ago".
The email app cover should record the time mails were last checked in UTC, not in local time.
This bug can probably be fixed very easily, could a sailor please have a look?
