My home computer checks e-mails and forwards most important ones to my mobile phone e-mail account. They are forwarded as attachments. However, I can't read them in the e-mail.

Do they come in some standard format like .eml ? Its currently not supported, but planned.

I recognised the same issue. The forwarded (embedded) mail has been downloaded as shown in the mail view header.

And I found the *.eml file below ~/Downloads/mail_attachments/. Every time I open the mail a new *.eml file has been saved.

Do you plan any cleanup solution?

This is still a problem in SailfishOS 1.1.6.27. When opening an e-mail that contains another forwarded e-mail, I see that it has a downloadable attachment of with MIME type message/rfc822. However after downloading it, and clicking again to open, I get an error message saying something along the lines of «Could not open attachment - file type not supported» (not sure about the exact English text used).

This "not supported but planned" feature is still not supported in 2.0.0 :(
