Imagine you're streaming your choice of popular audio-visual content and you want to interact with one or more social media at the same time.

The best model at the moment would be that you're watching the content on an independent large single purpose display and the social media is accessed via modern battery powered digital device. This is usually a device which will only allow you to interact with or follow the content of one social media site at a time.

This proposed model is one where the content being view is streamed to the Jolla tablet. Then meta-content, for example the score or track position or time or news feed etc. are annotations are layered on top of the visual content. This is where it gets tricky as we add a social media stream. The social media stream should also be able to be layered like the annotations and indeed trigger the layout of the annotations to change to adapt the presentation of the content to the additional information feed.

As such, one application of this type of feature would be that the content provider already includes in their annotations a social feed allowing users to share comments either with just friends or the content provider (who in turn would choose whether or not to broadcast).
