Since Mitakuuluu is having some problems, i think most of us are switching to Android client. Has someone came up with a way to receive notifications? I read that with the old 'version' of dalvik, when all apps were in one page it could be used a app launcher to hide whatsapp , is it now possible to do something similar? as for now i can receive silent notification with no vibration

[EDIT] As answered below by gerrymatha, installing apps like Zedge allows to receive sound notification from android apps, someone has a solution for the vibration?

The sound I hear is very faint and don't know what setting in Jolla would affect the sound volume?

Installing the google play store using the tutorial on this site allows the background services to create notifications in the swipe up menu in sailfish. To get the sounds, install an android app such as Zedge from the store and download a notification sound. See the notification sound as the default sound within the app. This will then allow sounds for notifications even when the android apps are closed
