Hardware: Official Wireless Charging Other Halfs [not relevant]
Wireless charging is becoming popular, so it would be great to see an official Jolla wireless charging Other Half (preferably Qi-compatible), or an official wireless charging receiver that can be added to an existing Other Half to add wireless charging capability.
Or maybe some enterprising individual will offer such an accessory, as I'm pretty sure the demand will be there.
PS. I know about this but it's not for everyone as it currently requires soldering etc. and ordering parts from various overseas suppliers, hence the request for an "official" accessory of some kind that anyone can buy and install.
I'm quite sure there will be much demand for various "official" other half variations that every Joe Average could buy from shop or webshop. First there could be some most demanded ones like for example KB OH and this wireless charging OH. This topic would be actually a good one for a poll.

BarryB ( 2014-02-11 21:43:54 +0200 )editHad a Pre+, a Pre2, a Pre3 and a Touchpad all with wireless charging and it worked flawlessly. The magnetic positioning of the device on the Touchstone ist still unmatched today by any wireless charging method there is - it was perfect. I wish SOMEBODY (wink wink) picked it up. The Jolla is the first phone I've had in a long time that I actually had to put a cable in (I used an app for wireless data transfer)... It feels like being back in the stone age, ie. the nineties.
Bimberle ( 2014-02-12 14:53:52 +0200 )editSounds great (that bloody microUSB is giving me the Heebie-jeebies - already lost a N900 'cause of that crap). An even greater idea would be to combine it with a physical keyboard - should be enough room for it.
flywheel ( 2014-02-26 04:29:57 +0200 )edit2015 seems to be year Qi gets off to the masses. IKEA launches a set of furnitures with embedded Qi chargers. As well as Starbucks are introducing Qi chargers for their customers.
