Since Update to Software version 1.1.1.27, Vaarainjärvi my music stored on the device is no longer being detected by the Media App, is there a way to fix this? [answered]

Since installing the update, my media app is no longer displaying the music I have stored on the device memory. I have browsed "file browser" and all is still there but it is not being shown when I enter media :(

Restart the media tracker.

There is an option in Sailfish Utilities app from the store i think.

Otherwise in Terminal:

tracker-control -es

The option in Sailfish Utilities, doesn't restart the database, it destroys and starts again. I have found that the service takes far too long to rebuild and as Alex pointed out, control-tracker -es works much better in my opinion. I still find it hard to fathom how after each release, basic things like this are still not getting fixed, the tracker is next to useless in general.

Have to agree with @Markkyboy, the option in Utilities is useless. Recently added an album to my collection (SD), and tracker found it alright, but it took several days to find all songs in it !? No matter how many restarts. Something needs to be done to this tracker thing!
