I updated from update 8 to update 10 and noticed my Maps application isn't anymore in the "My Apps" page in the Jolla Store, and I had to manually update the Maps application from it's own store page. There were no problems with the update process and when launched the Maps application worked like expected (like it did before, so nothing wrong there), but still it wasn't shown on "My Apps" page even after rebooting the phone.

Is anyone else having this bug or is it bug at all but some weird feature that I don't get?

Edit: Still no Maps in "My Apps".

I saw the same issue updte9>update10, I didn't try to run it (it's not something I run often) I just found it in the application list and manually updated.

After I updated it it showed in "My apps"

I noticed that it did not update automatically, but when looking at it in the store it was possible to update there. I went from update9 to update10.

Same for me. I don't get update notification for native maps aplication because it disappeared from "my apps" in jolla store. It reappeares after manually updating maps. But after reboot it disappeares again! (I updated from 9 to 10)

Phone, Messages, People etc do not show in My apps either. Perhaps Maps has now become a "system" application on a par with those?

I think not, because those are not at jolla store at all and get updates if firmware is updated. You can find maps still in store but not at "my apps" so you don't get a notify on a update and there was a new version directly after sailfish update 10.

I had the same issue Maps app disaapearing from My Apps list after update 10 (1.1.1.27) but was able to fix it by updating the app directly in it's Store page to version 1.0.25.1 after which it immediatly reappears in My Apps list. Same resolution has been reported by others in the comments, so this should be an ok workaround for this issue.

I had to manually update the Maps application from it's own store page. Don't know if you came from Update 9 or 8, but for me (update 8) the Maps isn't still in My Apps.

I updated to 1.1.1.27 from factory reset device thru 1.0.8.xx. And sadly after two days when I had manually updated the Maps app from it's Store page to the latest 1.0.25.1 it was shown in My Apps until I today rebooted my phone and once again the Maps disappeared fron My Apps list. So, the workaround then is still only a temporary fix that does not survice reboots. All the time the app itself is visible in the phone, works as expected and the update also had new features in the app. The Jolla Store in regards to Maps app is somehow broken and should be resolved by sailors.

I checked 3 phones running Vaarainjärvi (1.1.1): one updated from Uitukka (1.1.0), one that was factory resetted prior to update and one brand new that didn't have maps installed before update to Vaarainjärvi.

Maps is missing from the My Apps list on all three. Reinstalling Maps and/or rebuilding app registry don't fix the problem. No other apps seem to be missing from the list.

It would be nice if Jolla could take care of this problem!

@zappAtom, I'm sure they are aware of the problem already, but since it doesn't break anything critical, I don't believe we'll get any fast hotfix. Maybe this is fixed in next update.

Maps seems to be back on My Apps list. @xfade told in answer to an other question, that there was a Maps related server side issue, which has now been fixed.
