is TOH connected to a jolla account? [answered]

from what ive heard when clip on a TOH to your jolla and install the ambience the TOH in fact became connected to your jolla account. but after a while i heard people saying they want to change that. later i heard it is somehow not connected anymore.

so what is true in fact? i hope someone who actually KNOWS the answer to the CURRENT state of the situation can tell me :)

the reason is i want to buy a used TOH from someone but TOH was already in use on the others phone, so i need to know if a can actually get the ambience as well....

You are right. In the very beginning it was connected to the account, but after a while people were complaining, when they bought a used phone. So Jolla heard on that and changed policy, so now it's not connected anymore. You can just switch TOH and the ambience is getting installed. I know it because mine has had another account before I created this one and after Update 8 I was able to install the snow white ambience again ;)

If there is a problem with installing TOH just contact Jolla Zendesk.
