Screens become cluttered with an overlay of ambience colour

  1. Open any app,
  2. Minimise it to home screen
  3. Use long tap to bring up closing button
  4. Drag pulley menu as far down as it goes
  5. With the pulley-menu open, lock (or close) the phone by swiping from the top or use power button.

The next time the phone is unlocked the screens are cluttered (covered to large extent by ambience colour or something)

Reproduceable here. Looks like the pulley menu brightness is retained (or rather, the rest of the screen dimness) even though the menu is now gone. The fix is straight forward:- activate the pulley menu on the lock screen.
