[Question] Beginning of bluetooth audio is clipped after long period of silence

I run waze frequently on my phone over Bluetooth audio connected to my car's head unit. I've noticed when there is no audio from waze for a while (like > 3-5 seconds), the next audio stream produced by waze seems to have a short section at the beginning that is clipped i.e. I don't hear it through my car's speakers.
for example, after a while of silence, when waze says "In 200 metres, turn left", I usually only hear the tail end of "In" or sometimes I only hear the audio start from "200 metres, turn left".
is this a known issue?
