Not able to download apps from jolla store [not relevant]

I have purchased a brand new jolla mobile model JP-1301 from snapdeal india. The phone works fine and I also have a jolla account. However when I try to download and install essential app(calendar, note) from jolla store the app status shows downloading in progress and after a while(10 mins or so) I get a notification Problem Cannot install app. I tried a complete factory reset but it has not helped. I am using Broadband internet connection 2G. Can any body help please??
Have you upgraded the phone to the latest version first?
chemist ( 2015-03-22 16:11:44 +0200 )editI have purchased this mobile with sailfish version 1.0.8.19 (Tahkalampi). When I am not able to download any app even a few MB is it possible to download the latest update which is 189.7 MB without any problem. I am using BSNL mobile. Thanks

chemist ( 2015-03-22 18:01:00 +0200 )edit@yogesh Go to settings > accounts and update the credentials of your Jolla account. This should do the trick because it seems there is a bug so that you are unable to access your 'My Apps' section of Jolla store.
