[Bug?] Facebook credentials keeps requiring updating

not sure if anyone else is facing this but for the last 3 days I keep getting prompted to update my facebook credentials. I update it then a while later (like 30mins or an hour), it will ask me to update again. I suspect the timing of when I am required to update again is tied to the synchronization frequency of facebook that I have configured on my phone.
is this a bug or has it something to do with facebook stopping support for xmpp chat?
it happened to me on Friday. my presence settings were on online over the night as i read 2 birthday notifications as i woke up. i wrote to the first one directly throught the messages app. as i tried with to write to the second person i got a fail note that something went wrong and i should try again. as i tried to resend the message i was prompted to update my fb credentials. i did that, tried to set my presence presence to online or away again but the update credentials thing came again and again so got stuck in that circle til my phone crashed and rebooted itself. i even deleted my rb account and added it again but every time on start up it tried to connect automatically to get online and crashed again. repeating this damned circle 3-4 times i switched the phone off and removed the battery. as i switched it ob again it started without connecting. meanwhile i tried to connect to my fb via pc browser and realised the it was blocked due server update or how do they call it. after my account wad accessible again, everything with my Jolla was fine and functioning again.

tmulhearn ( 2015-03-31 22:53:33 +0300 )I have the issue since last update (for facebook and google). Does anybody manage to understand what happened ? Or solved it ? I tried to delete, reboot and recreate the account to no avail... :(
