Native apps sound doesn't work [answered]

Hi!

I have cutespot and media app but either not play music. Also my videos not play sound track.. And when i select ringtone phone not play any of sound. In other hand i can listen music with android spotify and watch videos at android facebook and youtube.

Everything else sound work normal like ringtone, message, alarm etc.

I had alredy downloaded utilities and refreshed media data base...

Edit: I reseted my Jolla and that fixed my problem.. :)

No sound from loudspeaker on Sailfish OS, while yes on Alien Dalvik (Android layer)? Could someone confirm having the same problem? Steps to reproduce? Did you try a reboot?

No sound from loudspeaker or headset on Sailfish. I haven't heard that anyone having same problem. I have reboot many times.

just to make sure it's not a codec prob or corrupt files; what happens when you open the gallery app and tap the "jolla product video"? and can you also try to play the ringtone file you say is working (i'm guessing it's one of jolla's original set?) from within the media app please?

I don't have that viedo anymore. But i tried another video. It launch normally but without sounds. I try play ringtone and nothing happen.

I noticed that loudspeker wash very quietly when i try play music.

so we close the circle of duplicates, how about properly answering the original first question and link to that?
