I read the posts about the early access details/problems, but when will the officially release take place? Did the stabilizing of 1.1.4 work, can we expect an official date soon or should we be more patient?

Usually its a week after the last early access update. Except if someone finds a nasty bug.
'Usually'??? There have only been two updates with early access release. In both cases the public release has been delayed due to bugs in the early access version. It seems that 3-4 weeks from early access to public access is the norm.
As to this update, it was mentioned on blog.jolla.com that the early access release should be distributed to early access users this week. This means that it will take at least another week to do the public release.

No one said it will be out one week after the first early-access RC... it was said one week after early-access, so the last update of early-access is either not the last in a week or it is released, right?

Just wait. Early access means, development and internal testing are finished. Nothing more, nothing less.
Some days or a week. If problems occur, add a week or something like that (happenend with this release). Repeating!
Imagine 50% of all Jolla devices are bricked, through a small bug, horror story. Nowadays including instant press coverage including and a casual twitter shitstorm. Of course your real and paying, existing customers are also hit by this, which rely and trust on you.

The new update have heavy battery issues and other bugs. See here for the list. I think they have to fix them first before the update will be public.

According to https://together.jolla.com/question/89804/release-notes-114-aijanpaivanjarvi/ it was yesterday.
@PatsJolla roughly 6 days after the last RC was published to early-access, that is ~pretty much (1 day earlier) what was told before! Can we just not have this question next time, please? Jolla is doing a great job with communicating early-access so far so no need to add noise to it.

It seems you don't have a choice. Jolla users are experienced in waiting, hrr hrr ;-)

The body is not even cold (48h) and you ask for its inheritance?! Wait another 120h (that is when the 7-days grace period is over...) but I guess there will be another EAR before final as they have not fixed the upgrade process yet, did they?.

After an official announcement that an update will be available it is not impolite to ask for an official date two weeks later, I'm sorry but there are enough people writing about bugs and waiting for updates and this seems to become a big one. So I don't think it is too much to ask for an official date. And if Jolla tells will take at least 3 more weeks to make it more stable, so be it.
PatsJolla ( 2015-04-30 16:29:19 +0300 )editI'm a bit picky about questions today, nothing personal - still, 48h (28th?) after an early access release this is "I cannot wait for it!" behaviour. Universal Jolla answer SOON™ applies to such intend, if "one week" waiting is too much to ask.
Just as a note, 3 weeks from now is probably the next early access release candidate already.

As a 'normal' user I would want an update when it's ready, polished, and tested. This means: You can't have a date. Otherwise you risk getting an unfinished, rough, and not properly tested release.
