No, unfortunately there is no way (yet) to see Jolla Store content without using Sailfish OS. If you have for example a Nexus 4 or 5, you could install Sailfish OS there and check out the store.
In case you have some specific questions about Jolla Store, I can try to answer them for you.
Just thinking, can we have an unofficial community maintained list / DB.

People back projects like this for various other reasons. And anyways "Android support" can calm nerves of new users.

Simple fact is buying a SailfishOS device is not on the same level as buying an Android Device, users should know and accept what they are buying into, and lack of First Party apps is part of that.
