After updating to 1.1.7.24 google chrome no longer works. The app does start and shows the initial google search page, but entering an url or search term doesn't do anything.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Google Chrome on Jolla does not work for me since EVER. This is normal. ;)
Installed google play services (long time ago) using instructions similar to https://together.jolla.com/question/30926/howto-install-google-play/. After that I was able to install google apps like chrome, gmail etc.

I am. Sometimes when starting the app I get a notification that "com.google.process.gapps has stopped".
teemu ( 2015-07-17 12:36:10 +0200 )editI can absolutely confirm this. Chrome stopped working since 1.1.7.24, while other browsers (tested Jolla's native browser and Opera) still work.

I've tried downgrading to the older google play services that can be installed from aptoide (6.1.71) as a test as well as 7.5.74 (which seems to be the latest) with no joy. I don't think this is important enough to me to downgrade though.

The problem is the same as in the description above. The app starts, but when entering an url or search term, nothing happens. I have rebooted the device, but the problem remains.
Any ideas how to solve this?
