IMAP-error [not relevant]

Hello,

Something odd hapening when I am trying to get IMAP working. Client just hangs forever, saying "updating"....

IMAP server is Dovecot and it is mandatory to use SSL (993).

Sailfish is 1.0.2.5 (Maadajävri) and IMAP-client is up to date by store.

Only error I could found is:
Jan 02 00:10:01 localhost jolla-email[15794]: [D] Standard folder 1 not found for account: 0

Any suggestions where to look next...

does this happens always or you can get some emails at least ?

It happens always with Dovecot server, haven't got a single mail from it. Gmail works, but it won't help because I am not using it actively.

I think (guess) the problem is that Jolla's client cant't some how understand Dovecot server and the maildir hierarchy.

Have you added the IMAP account before updating Sailfish OS to current?

Hello,

Yes, the account has been added before latest OS-version. Mail administrator sent me a log line which is related to SSL operations:

Jan 14 16:28:24 mail dovecot: imap-login: Disconnected (no auth attempts): rip=89.18.240.74, >lip=217.30.184.167, TLS handshaking: Disconnected.

Maybe its is a SSL thing?

What port are you using for imap ?
