Cannot detect my jolla via USB and establish a PC Connection.. Please Help

Hi, I cannot detect my jolla on any windows os machine i Have windows 7. When I connect my Phone it just shows charging any PC also does not detect jolla device connected to it. Please help..

Hi, I tried changing the usb mode, tried plugging in the usb first in my phone then to the machine, tried installing the drivers and also tried with 5 different cables including the cable given by jolla but nothing worked so i decided its not gonna connect so i reset my device and now it works fine. I guess I didn't update my phone properly so this problem happened. thanks for the help guys.. Really appreciate your replies.
Try connecting the cable on the phone end first and then into the pc
