Hi, I tried to search for previous threads but most are so old that the situation has changed, so here is my new thread.

Since the SFOS Update to 1.9 I have problems importing events from emails as well as setting up new events within the phone itsself. I think it might be related to the detail that I don't have any calendars to choose from. I integrate CalDav as an account but Events from that account don't show up in the calendar.

Should I recreate that account to get a default calendar or are there other tips I could try?

Edit: When I go to "Manage Calendars" within the app I have no Calendar at all neither a default nor the CalDav one. How can I get at least a default one?

My synced calendar was gone, too, after the first reboot following the installation of 1.9. What worked for me was another reboot and an initial sync. The calendar was back again. Naturally one has to select the default calendar again when creating the first new event. Hope this helps.

YES... this solved it... Seems that after the update to 1.9 several restarts are needed. I definately restarted the phone afterwards but somehow this was not re-initialized.

The only thing I really don't like in this scenario is the amount of restarts I have to do with Sailfish to get some strange behaviours fixed, not only this "bug". It sometimes feels like Win 98 - which is really not a good thing.
