this is good news, the price is fair, but no warranty for me kills the deal. I'll wait to get a commercial version.

molan ( 2016-05-26 13:31:57 +0200 )editInteresting and annoying at the same time. So, we have to buy another phone to become part of this?, nice, I already bought 2, does that not qualify?, I guess not, I have to buy a 3rd phone to be part of a course?, wow......perhaps I better go away and read and digest some more. So now Jolla has 2 incomplete handsets in the market, despite the shop looking like WWIII has hit it. A thank you for loyalty?, what?, by selling more stuff to us....is a thank you?, sorry, I don't quite follow.......no,no,no, as a thank you, you might send a t-shirt, a few stickers, a free TOH or something tangible, not put your hand out for more money!, oh well, here's another Jolla venture I will not be buying into - thanks, but no kiitos
Spam Hunter ( 2016-05-26 13:33:33 +0200 )editI'm 49 years old now and never in my life had a device repaired under warranty - they either work flawlessly until I no longer need them or they break after the warranty period. So that's really no issue, especially given the low price.
What I'm interested in: Comparing the specs it seems it's a re-branded Intex Aqua Fish (or something that should have become the Aqua Fish... I wonder what happened to the project.) Is this Jolla's way of offering the device to EU customers while still keeping their (likely) contractual obligation of not selling consumer phones? Smart move, I'd say. :)
