Jolla maps thinks GPS is deactivated [answered]
Whenever I open Jolla maps (HERE maps) I get the message: "Positioning is deactivated. Check settings/location" (might not be the correct English text since I translated the German one). The message is written on the upper-left map extract next to saved favourites (see added screen-shot). I cannot click on that short-cut as long as the message is there.
As soon as I swipe the window to the left (to get to the actual map) my location is shown correctly (even though GPS lock can be incredibly slow) - but location services are activated.
-deactivate & activate location services in settings didn't help -Re-installing maps doesn't help (& where is the maps application cache? Maybe deleting those files would help - removing application leaves those files in the system) -Tested maps in several locations, indoor & outdoor
GPS works well in Android applications. Anyone else with the same issue or any advice?
(My Jolla runs with the latest January '14 update)
I Can not reproduce this, my device is working fine (latest january update too)
