Found it in my router log. Anyone know something about this? How can I find out what app is sending this query? Can I remove/block it?

Edit: I've Never used or installed AlienDalvik.

need good firewall, with permissions management per application, like in CM12 (Android)... and? try search WireShark, maybe it ported, and maybe its help you.

Well, removing google search engine from stock web browser seem to have ended this query (never used it). Anyway, Google have not shown up in my log since then. Still not sure what caused this query, but I will close this thread for now.

How did you actually remove the Google search? I've never used it (thanks @coderus), but it's still there in the browser settings as an option.

Since the request seems to have been initiated by the Google search settings in the default browser, it is possible this was caused by a "search provider update" request (a request by the browser if the search settings needs to be updated, e.g. when request parameters changed). I don't know how this is implemented by the stock browser, though.

@bocephus You can change the default search via Settings -> Apps (at the bottom just above Accounts) and then select the Browser.

@bocephus Just delete the xml file that you don't need, at /usr/lib/mozembedlite/chrome/embedlite/content/. You'll need to be root.
