I've been using my Jolla tablet mainly to run Duolingo.

After installing the latest upgrade, it lost all sound. This is quite the bummer for learning languages.

Any help available?

Thanks!

I can confirm that. Other Android apps do have sound, Duolingo not. My workaround at the moment is to use Duolingo on Jolla Phone.

Thanks @rrunner64 for saying that. I realized I forgot to say Skype sounds off on startup. Otherwise I don't have Android applications that I'd use.

Can someone at Jolla test this? A fix would be highly appreciated!

Thank you!

I'll vote up, as I have the exact same problem. This is quite annoying, although it is a little bet of a relieve that it was not me who killed the sound but the update ;)

@mjtorn: thanks for reporting. You have it right. When Duolingo is started on an tablet running 2.1.1.24 Pulseaudio appears to crash, and then the app gets silent. Other Android apps, too. After a restart the other apps work ok again. On 2.1.0.11 this was still working, Bug filed.

@jovirkku thank you for noticing! I think this is still current on 2.1.1.26.

I tried restarting PulseAudio, but you probably meant restarting the device.

Cheers!
