Hi,

This morning my phone showed that there was a new system update (Jämsänjoki) available. At the time, however, I had other fish to fry and shut down the phone during a meeting. After rebooting, the update no longer shows in the systems update menu, I have tried to manually search for it, but my phone says that it is up to date (Iijoki is latest release). I consider doing

ssu re <version number>
version --dup

but I am unsure whether this will work, if the update can't be found. I have a Jolla 1 with Iijoki update already installed.

Thanks R

Edit:

The update to Sailfish OS 2.1.1.26 is ceased since August 31 due to some issues with security code (check out the release notes).

Try this: https://together.jolla.com/question/164505/unable-to-refresh-packages-and-upgrade-os-to-latest-version/#comment-164556

  • check that the date and time on your device are about correct (+/- 3 mins does not matter)
  • check that you can browse to a well known web page with Jolla browser
  • sign in to your Jolla account again (Settings > Accounts > Jolla: pull down "Update sign-in credentials"
  • ssu setup: do on command line:

    • devel-su
    • ssu fl release
    • ssu do sales
    • ssu re 2.1.1.26

Now try the update again in Settings > Sailfish OS updates

Yes we have intentionally stopped the roll out for now. We need to investigate and understand why half a dozen of devices have been requesting the security code after a seemingly successful update although the device lock had not been used previously. A couple of devices even indicate that they are permanently locked. The roll out will continue later. Apologies for the delay.

But... but...but WHY DON'T YOU TELL US ??!! It's been 2 days that I'm trying to refresh this f** screen on my girl friend's phone... I checked 10 times on https://blog.jolla.com and there was no info about it !

As long as you have an internet connection and an active Jolla account it will work that way (remember to be devel-su) - cheers.
