Hello, I expose my problem, following a stop of my Jolla C because the battery was empty, I reloaded and reboot and there the loose. It starts but impossible to do anything, there is the wallpaper that appears but not the rest, ie no time, no network, no battery, nothing. The right and left gestures do not work, since the bottom I have the applications but impossible to open an application and from the top I can lock. I have the impression that it is the overlay graphic that jokes, because when I am in the menu of applications if I make right on the left I see appearing either open applications or notifications screen during the movement but after more nothing. So I tried a connection in ssh but I had to disable the developer mode so impossible. I tried the recovery mode but of course I had a security code but impossible to remember. So I contacted Jolla care but as it is a Jolla C they can not do anything for me because no guarantee or sav. They try to find a solution online but I feel that it is not won.

You see something else that I can try? Is there no way to flash the Jolla C?

I had also a similar problem after a update and full should down.

Maybe this helps:

  1. First you can test to tip on your power button more the 4 times shortly. If you had install powermenu-2 the phone will unlock. This app it a must have if you use patches for the lockscreen because you can unlock without the screen (corrupt files in lipstick qml).

  2. Or you connect your phone without ssh with Telnet and delete all patches. How you can read here. The reason is often, that nobody make a full should down after activating from patches and don't see a real problem with lockscreen patches.

Good luck

thank you indeed by repeatedly pressing the power button it works. But having lost my security code I can not do anything to solve the problem permanently. Doing version -dup I have a return of error can’t install, please install version for current year

Do you realy forgott the code or du you used the patch maze lock? If maze lock and you don't know the numbers you can try this:

1 2 3

4 5 6

7 8 9

The gesture U is 1378965. If not maze lock I will look for a othe solution in advance. Don't give up!

Actually I was using Mazelock, and then I uninstalled it. I tried what you suggest but it does not work. I think I will wait maybe Jolla Care will find me a solution to help me. Thank you very much for your help.
