Please provide instruction how to force SFOS X to use custom IP DNS service providers of the users choice. Already works in the UI for WIFI but not Mobile Data SIM?

@coderus thank you filetug was able to open edit the file in txt. I added a DNS, restarted network connections and DNS is still routed through Phone SIM provider, ill restart the phone and try again.

I also have used this method on Xperia x compact, but found that resolv.conf was symlink, so deleted symlink, and made actual file, with preferred nameservers, and worked.

@Levone1 please mark your as a solution. it worked!

  1. Delete Symlink
  2. Copy resolv.conf from /var/run/connman/ and paste in /etc/ folder

Quick question, whats the syntax for defining multiple DNS servers primary and secondsry?

One way - Connmanctl. Explained here - https://together.jolla.com/question/17806/add-the-ability-to-change-dns-settings-for-3g/ - with a prebuilt connmanctl file linked in comments. Tested and working well...

Another way - 1. Delete Symlink /etc/resolv.conf 2. Copy resolv.conf from /var/run/connman/ and paste in /etc/ folder, modifying nameservers as you like.
