Xperia X fails to restore 4G data connection upon disconnect. The following does not help:

  1. Restart securefishnet
  2. Flush VPN securefishnet
  3. Stop VPN
  4. Restart network through utilities

What works:

  1. Flightmode on off

This is a BUG in sailfish X and really needs to be fixed.

This is a duplicate! It is reported multiple times here, that SailfishX has GSM connection issues. Please use search before opening another topic. Posting it more often wont help and only spams TJC.

Update: First link seems to be the most resent for your problem:

@SaimenSays, if you are going to call "duplicate" at least provide a link to the said 'original post', making it easier to distinguish whether or not the question is actually a duplicate.

Without conducting a full search with different parameters, here's a good example of an original question regarding connection problems; https://together.jolla.com/question/158744/reconnection-issues/

The OP is a duplicate and should be closed as such as @DarkTuring has been here long enough to understand this.

@Edz: I know that I should post the duplicate threads, but it is very hard to do this when answering from the phone.

@DarkTuring: Even If there is no soultion in an old story, a new story will not change this.

I asked Jolla for support and send ofono logs. They told me to flash Android and then come back to Sailfish. But they can't give a guarantee this would fix it. I did not and hoping for next update to fix this. But maybe it is an option for you.

@SaimenSays - fair enough indeed :)
