On my Jolla Phone with 3.0.0.5, when I want to clear all notifications from the events screen, I experienced a minor hiccup:

I long-press on the notifications until the x-symbol appears. Then I drag down to reach the "clear all" menu... but get the new shortcuts menu instead. What I have to do is: I have to lift my finger off the screen and then tap&drag down again. Only then the "clear all" menu appears.

This feels unnatural. I checked with my Sony Xperia X that still runs SF2. My memory didn't betray me: SF2 allows me to long-press and drag down in one go. No need to take the finger off the screen.

Edit and bump:
Same behavior for pulley to close all open apps on home screen (3.0.3.10)

Yes, that feels a bit off.

If I drag down immediately when x's appear, I get the new top menu, but if I'm not quick enough, I get 'close all' in the pulley menu.

and this is also the case with closing all apps on the homescreen. Earlier behavour was long press screen, drag down when x's appear and select close all from the pulley menu. Now you get sometimes the topmenu instead of the pulley menu. Is it the focus the home page has at the moment you start the action?

I cannot confirm this on a JollaC with 3.0.3.10. Neither with notifications nor with apps closure. I get every time the clear/close. But I think to remember having had this in some earlier revision?

no idea why and how but now I have noticed this, too. So confirmation from my side. I do not see any pattern here. Fully random behaviour. It seems the markers are lost when starting swiping and therefore top menu appears?

yes on xperia x reproducible

feels odd, makes the whole pulles on events kinda unusable, especially for new users that never saw it before

This is definitely an issue that should be fixed. Unfortunately the repro steps are not clear, whenever we have tried the Events pulley opens without issues. But there are enough recent reports to indicate the issue still lurks somewhere.

Actually no need, fellow sailor just demonstrated the issue.

This happens when you don't lift the finger between the long tap gesture and swipe down gesture. Being able to continue to the pulley opening without lifting finger would be cool, but changing the action mid gesture is not the easiest thing to accomplish, normally each gesture touch cycle (press -> move -> release) performs only one action. Top Menu opening is clearly a bug in itself.
