[BUG] Xperia X Can No Longer Reboot Successfully (Red LED)
When attempting to reboot my Xperia X (either via native options or via Lighthouse), the device displays the red notification LED and is never able to reboot. The phone appears to be off (black screen) but is obliviously doing something as the device gets extremely hot (infinite loop?).
The only way to force the reboot is to hold the VOLUME UP + POWER keys.
This also means I'm not able to ever shut down / power off the device.
This happened (happens) to me when the WiFi system hangs with the new TP-Link access points at work.

Levone1 ( 2019-04-08 16:24:01 +0200 )editThanks @Levone1 that does indeed force the device to shutdown. However, what puzzles me is why the phone is not shutting down (or rebooting) via the usual method. The shutdown procedure starts, the screen goes off, but the red notification LED is constantly lit, and the phone gets increasingly hotter and hotter until either (a) the phone explodes or (b) it runs out of battery power (which is what tends to happen). I wonder what could be causing this.
