android store not showing on brand new xperia x [answered]

just got brand new xperia x and installed sailfish right away, i couldn't find the android store in the icons, went to the jolla store and saw it was already installed and that it is updating. uninstalled it and reinstalled and rebooted and still i have no icon of the android store showing up at all in the software display grid. i installed other software and it does show up. i tried to use search but couldn't find anything.

Got same thing recently.

Try this:

go to Settings > scroll all the way down > Accounts
select your Jolla account > login (with user you bought OS on)
go to Store > Jolla > Android Support > Install

i think i have found why

"10. Can I move my Sailfish X from my old Xperia X to a new device or do I need to purchase a new license? Yes, you will need to buy the Sailfish X software license per each device you use. Sailfish X software license is dedicated to one device and it can’t be transferred to another device."

since my first xperia x broke down and is unusable i'll have to contact jolla support
