[bug] e-mail no recipient on reply after editing

Hej,
manual configured smtp e-mail accounts on SFOS 3.0.3.10 (JollaC).

When replying to an e-mail and deleting the recipient, exchanging it with another address and sending the mail goes to the Outbox and rots there without any notification/warning/error! The exchanged recipient address has vanished!

When entering the new recipient in a second line and only then deleting the original recipient from first line the sending works.

One just needs to know!!! I feel like the only thing to get through this world is remembering workarounds! ;)

I agree, it's an issue with the address being "validated" only if the focus goes out of the field. So we can have entered an address but this address is actually used for To: field only after focus is moved. I guess we can create some other fancy bugs like typing an adress in To: field and then add a Cc: one, but send without quiting the focus of Cc: field. I guess the Cc: won't receive the mail… I'll see if I can find a patch and come back with investigation results. It's annoying I agree.

Oh yes. Now I remember that this issue has been mentioned already (or was ot that the to, cc, bcc fields were only editable after clicking the three dot menu?). And it is the same behaviour But search did not yield any result.

Regarding the cc field and sending without leaving you are right. And even worse!!!
if you modify a reply-to-all cc recipient and do not leave that cc field before sending then the original recipient will get the mail.
. THIS is now a serious bug!
