Nextcloud CardDAV sync [duplicate]

I am syncing my Sailfish contacts with Nextcloud. It is generally working except deletions that are not syncing if i remove entry on remote end (Nextcloud). Anyone with the same problem ?
yes. there's a few long standing issues in the carddav client.
After some time writing changes to the CardDAV server fails. So far, nobody has been able to debug this problem.
Jolla knows about it but has difficulties to find someone that can work on improving the implementation. Damien Calliste was working on it some months ago.
The workaround I have: Deleting and readding the account.

Not very elegant but it kinda works.
Is this really a just-sailfish problem? I have sync problems with iOS devices too, but in that case an event series deleted under iOS wasn't synced to nextcloud... And the behaviour of Nextcloud with event series is somehow strange. I guess there are problems at both ends. (Edit: sorry, my comment adresses caldav, not carddav...)
Cryx ( 2019-08-21 22:12:18 +0300 )Using Nextcloud with Thunderbird (CardBook Add-on) works. Before flashing Sailfish X I ran Android with DavDroid and that also without any hiccups. The same goes for CalDAV.
