Calendar sync from phone to Nextcloud not working? [answered]

happy holidays!
If I create a calendar item on Sailfish phone and manually sync it does not appear in the Nextcloud calendar. If I do the same on the Nextcloud calendar and then sync on phone the item appears in Sailfish calendar. I've tried manually syncing from Sailfish calendar and backup apps.
Using Sailfish build 3.2.1.20 and Nextcloud 17.0.2 Let me know if I can provide any other information.

At first glance I'm not seeing anything wrong myself, then again this is the first time I use cal/cardDAV
Edit: "Process "/usr/lib/buteo-plugins-qt5//oopp/carddav-client" finished with exit code 15" seems to indicate something going wrong during sync
zaggynl ( 2019-12-26 14:23:23 +0300 )editThe thing that goes wrong in the log for CalDAV is "no calendar found", meaning that there is no calendar to be be synced. As you notice, none were checked in the setting page.
