Linkedin page does not work with SFOS browser on my Xperia XA2 Plus, latest release...

Is it similar to old issue with Twitter back then?

If you want to do general web browsing, you need to use an Android browser, such as Brave, Bromiteor Firefox. The SFOS browser is well-known to only work with a restricted subset of the web, see for example https://together.jolla.com/question/7367/wiki-unsupportedproblematic-websites-in-sailfish-browser/ although there are other questions here that discuss the issue too. The problem is not the browser itself, but the fact that SFOS uses an ancient version of Qt that is no longer supported. This is why Leszek's excellent native browser WebCat has similar problems, and there isn't much that he can do about it. Neither the native browser, nor WebCat, are fixable as such.

Jolla are well aware of the need to upgrade Qt in SFOS, and this has been discussed in a number of the collaboration meetings. It is a big job though, and AFAIK there is no specific timetable for it.
