[XA2] [3.2 and 3.3] [bug] email app updating takes very very long

One thing you should check is the new setting for synchronizing all folders. This can be a lengthy operation, so you might want to set it to sync only INBOX.

Same issue here (XA2 3.3.0.16). Syncing my gmail accounts takes long and sometimes doesn't work after all. I didn't notice the problem in 3.3.0.14 . In preferences->online accounts->gmail I do only sync my Inbox. I am not sure, but I think the problem occurs only when using wifi.

Same for me, I have five IMAP-accounts on the same server, the first four sync as usual the last one takes ages and often fails. All of them only sync the inbox

Same issue here (Xperia 10 Plus) and SFOS v3.2.1.20 But no issue with same SFOS Version on a Xperia 10. Both systems used the same IMAP-Account. After reading https://together.jolla.com/question/67034/howto-reset-user-databases/ i decided to delete my mail-account on the Xperia 10 Plus. After rebooting i created the same mail-account again. This fixed the problem. After updating to SFOS Version 3.3.0.16 both mobiles works fine.

Same issue here. Updated my Xperia 10, Xperia X and Jolla C to ROKUA 3.3.0.16. Gmail works ok (bit slow). But I have four IMAP email boxes xxx@pp.inet.fi from Finnish local operator Telia. If I do "update all" then every box will be updated, but looking at individual boxes sometimes they sync sometimes (mostly) there is timeout. I only sync the inbox. After pushing several times "wait", then finally the app will show emails. Rebooting does not help. Also no help if I delete boxes and create again. Had no problems with good old NUUKSIO 3.2.1.20. Because of this fault, decided not to update my Jolla 1. ... Lifeboat.
