Gmail account not syncing automatically

Anyone else have the same situation : after 3.3 update gmail does not sync automatically?
Sync starts when I enter email+gmail but not automatically.

what are your exact sync settings? I can try to reproduce it here.

Manual update also takes longer time than usual.
