Sony Xperia X (F5122) "No SIM card inserted" even with SIM inserted

I replaced the old SIM card with a new one, nothing else. During boot time the SIM card is not detected and the the PIN is not asked for. Inserting the SIM card into other phones like an iphone 7 for example, the SIM card works perfect like expected. So the new SIM card isn't damaged. What causes the problem with Xperia and Sailfish OS ?

The ofono service points out that the SIM card is ok. But the phone says, no sim card present.

Flashing the device fixed the SIM card problem. Seems to be that the error came up after upgrading to the latest version named Rokua.
