I play a list of tracks (an album) in the media player either via cable or bt. The playback regularly stops after the first track and won't continue until screen is touched or even pressed play again. Few times parts or whole tracks are skipped.

current media does not support all codecs. I find that it plays mp3 but f.i. no wmv. So when the next track is not supported, it stops or skips
In the Warehous of openrepos you can find additional codec packs to install
maybe I was not clear enough: the player do manage to play the files eventually after some interaction, so no decoding problems. Concerning the additional codecs, thete are some issues reported by users, perhaps not 100% there yet?
