RSAP development

Hello, I realize this has already been requested but I wanted to know a few things about RSAP bluetooth profile support (for cars with hands-free equipment).

Am I right in supposing that this is not being worked on? The last thread I found about hands-free profiles was mainly concerned with PBAP. If so, I'd like to do some work on RSAP support. Is it possible at all for a non-Jolla employee like me to tackle this sort of low-level stuff? I.e. are the relevant bluetooth sources available somewhere? All I found up to now was the Mer bluez repository... The N900 PBAP support was only available via the SSU repositories after quite some time. I hope we can get RSAP into Jolla soon in order to gain/not lose momentum after a promising launch of the phone.

To put my question differently: Is there a way to obtain the current handsfree bluetooth source code? Some profiles already work but is this functionality open source?
