texting, enabling suggested adderssing prefix

the messaging app, is prefixing messages with the name of the reciepient, e.g. 'Hi George', is there anyway to enable that text, at the moment is grayed out and overwritten. even more, can we change this prefix with somethjng else, e.g. Hello?
As it is now, the text "Hi George" also serves as a reminder of who you're messaging with, in case you forget :) – as the contact name isn't shown anywhere else on the screen. But maybe there could be a better place for the contact name than the message text field.
