After the 1.0.2.5 update, opening events causes calendar to crash and close, same for creating events. If I try to create an event and clicking create it just closes the calendar and does not create an even. This my calendar unusable.

Can I confirm that I am not the only one getting this?

No problem for me. I did however not have any old calender events before upgrade. So ifg you have it may be the db got corrupt after upgrade or similar?

Now my calendar works. I did as follows: Close calendar, connect Jolla to pc ( I used windows), goto Jolla's directory: Phone Memory/.local/share/system/privileged/Calendar/mkcal, Rename files: db and db.changed to e.q. odb and odb.changed. Start calendar (this creates new db-files). Then goto settings and accounts. Save your accounts which are syncronised with your calendar without modifications. Now calendar works.

Yes thats working, also can do with terminal, but maybe easier to do with GUI. mysteroius problem, because file is looking about fine, its not corrupted and r/w permission is ok. if someone Jolla worker want to check files whats is wrong i can give the files.

It does work in a sense that the crashes are gone, but the exchange events can't be edited or created. Only the local calendar works. Or is it only me?

Goto to settings - accounts and save your exchance-account without modifications.

Mine does that too and I've looked for a solution like this, thank you :) Have to try this solution. Mine started crashing when adding events after my calendars disappeared https://together.jolla.com/question/10031/exchange-calendars-disapperared-but-remains-on-the-servers/

I can confirm that this trick worked for restoring my calendars that had disappeared :)
