You just put it somewhere in your filesystem. (Per ssh or by connecting it to your PC). The tracker daemon will index your music automatically.

Bug: Some mp3/mp4 music files do not play
Music player does not support apostrophe character ( ' ) in directory name
Miner for Tracker does not work [BUG] [answered]
How do I share music(mp3) files?
soundhound / shazam like integrated app should be cool for jolla
[feature-request] Music player should remember repeat and shuffle settings
Honoring the original samplerate in mp3 [not relevant]
[Request] Support for CUE sheets in media player (music albums)
I disagree to consider this question as answered. First there is no simple method to access to microSD; second running developer mode for such basic things mean I need to first learn and then start using the phone effectively. Considering this as closed is taking generic presumption that all who own Jolla are comfortable using terminal and developer mode.
Makarand ( 2013-12-29 12:39:19 +0200 )editsame here, it's not a good awnser. There must be an easier way. Using Terminal and typing every filename, is a no usable way.
TomTomGalore ( 2013-12-29 20:46:31 +0200 )editPlug your jolla to your computer using the usb cable. Copy your music files to the folder called "music" on your jolla. Once done, start the media app. Music should be there.
