I did a factory reset of my device, which I received back in December 2013. The device is now at software version 1.0.0.5, and I never got the update to work again. I've followed the steps from Jolla Zendesk, but both the Store and the Jolla Settings app crash when I try to add an existing Jolla account with working credentials.

When I try to create a new account (tried that multiple times), I just see the message "Oops, something went wrong!". Is there anything else I can do now, or do I have to send in the the device?

The exact message when I use the correct credentials is: "Unnamed application is not responding". When I use an incorrect username/password combination for my Jolla account, I get: "Oops, problem with account creation".

The Internet connection through WiFi is working fine, I can use the browser to open websites.

Hi rabit - Do you have the correct time and date on your Jolla?, if not, you will experience problems adding/connecting to your account.

Thanks, yes, I tried both to manually set the date/time as well as using a time server. With correct date/time set through both methods, I still got the same results.

It looks like resetting the device did not run through correctly when using the Jolla settings app. After running a factory reset from the boot menu (connected through USB/telnet), everything is working fine now. Not sure if that is a known bug.
