I have a recurring event in my ownCloud calendar, which starts at 19:00. After syncing the calendar the event is starts at 20:00 on the phone. On ownCloud and in Thunderbird the starting time is still 19:00. The problem may be connected to the switch from summer time to winter time.

I have updated the phone to latest update.

This is the event as exported by ownClound

When I share the event via mail from the phone, I get the following event

I too had this problem, but it turned out to be an issue with the phone thinking I lived in Finland (1 hour difference) if I enabled time sync.

EDIT: Actually now that I remember more in detail, the above mention was not the real issue. I will post my solution as an answer.

I too had this problem, but I could never solve it. Finally I realized my calendar might be at fault. After all it had started its life as a Google Calendar, been exported, imported, modified a lot, and endured several ownCloud version upgrades.

I finally solved it by starting clean.

To be precise, I renamed my calendars on the server-side, for legacy/backup reasons. Then, on the server, I created new and clean calendars and manually added everything I needed to them. The brand new calendars and events sync perfectly with the phone and any and all issues I ever had were simply gone.
