Hierarchy (page) indicator not always shown in Email app

With 1.1.1.27 when opening an single email than sometimes the hierarchy (page) indicators left and right are not shown. But when you touch inside page they appear.
This happens to me quite often around one out of 10 or 20 times I open a mail.
My feeling is that it is more often when opening a mail directly from the notification screen.
I have observed the same thing. Sometimes it appears when the email loads, and sometimes not.
