Is Sailfish OS 2.0 going to include more open source components?

It has been interesting to follow the licensing situation of Sailfish OS packages at

https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/SailfishOSS

(Thanks for all the updates to that wiki)

But what are the plans for the 2.0 update regarding openness? Are we going to see more or less open-source licences on the list of that release? How open will it eventually be? Does using Intel (on the tablet) instead of arm (on the phone) bring more into this?

TBH i don't expect SFOS 2 to be much different in the base software side of things. I expect it to be a polish and visual release.

Even the 1. release/dropping the "Beta" on MWC last year really felt like marketing than an actual discreet event. And I kinda expect "Sailfish 0S 2.0" to be pretty much the same. :)

BTW, that does not mean it is a bad thing - Sailfish OS is being incrementally developed with quite quick pace and I like that much more like classical infrequent waterfall-like major releases. :)
