Yes i know there is a change of FB API, but is there a workaround to stay the existing synced contacts, Cal, profile Pics etc. persistend. I don´t want to loose all date of my merged contacts.

I think the problem is, that the funcionality is disabled, so this feature is noch available - and the old data disappieres. The link between data and account must be deleted, without loosing the data. How to make this data independend of the account from where they comes. This is a ugly problem and must be solved until maior release 1.1.4.x xor 30.4.2015 (end of FB Api)

I've just received an email from Microsoft informing me that all contact sync with Facebook will be removed from Outlook and the Windows People app. If MS can't coax them into sharing their friend lists, Jolla don't stand a chance...
Apparently it still works in Windows Phone 8.1, because they removed it and transferred responsibility for contact sync to the Facebook app. Facebook's definitely had its ball back.

I think there remove the code, so no. But I'm not a dev so...
heubergen ( 2015-04-17 16:10:11 +0200 )editthe location of the avatars and the database that links photo with contact is in /home/nemo/.local/share/system/ it also contains the photos from facebook gallery etc. Maybe some one with skills could make a script to save those files to some where and after the update link avatars to contacts using the existing database... I have no experiens in coding so I don't know if this is possible... One way to do it the hard way is copying the avatars to safe location and then from people app change the profile picture one by one...
